University follows trimester system and in this system an academic year will be of 3 (three) trimesters. The schedule of an academic year will be as follows:
Graduation/Degree Requirements
To obtain the degree, a student must complete the minimum required credit hours of his/her respective program, which is preset and declared for each program. Although the passing grade point in a course of every program with major/concentration as per Our grading system is 2.20 on the scale of 4.00, a student must acquire a minimum CGPA of 2.20 or higher CGPA to obtain the Degree. Students must also complete the thesis requirement and a mandatory orientation course in 3 parts with a minimum grade of 3.0 in each individual 3 parts to achieve academic and total excellence in the program and to 'Bring Out The Best in a Student.
Evaluation & Grading System
The performance of a student in any course will be evaluated on the basis of class attendance, in course/class test/class assessment, assignments/term papers/case, mid-term and trimester final examinations. The whole course will be divided into two parts and the course evaluation would be as follows:
Grading System
The performance of a student in a given course is made through continuous evaluation that comprises quizzes/ in-course, class participation, attendance, home work/assignment, case study, mid-term and trimester final examinations. Letter grades and grade points are used to evaluate the performance of a student in a given course. A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C and D are the passing grades while F is the failing grade. Grade 'I' is incomplete and grade 'W' is for withdraw. The numerical grades used in calculating the GPA/CGPA (Cumulative grade point average) are as follows:
